The sun shines in the land of cherry blossoms.

For the Okami contest.

I've always loved sumi-e landscapes, so I decided to put my emphasis on that, rather than the character art. Based, as such, primarily on various styles of traditional sumi-e.

Edit: tweaked the colors; added frame; redid Sakuya.

This is really beautiful. I'm just beginning sumi-e and ink wash studies, and really liked your interpretation of it. I think the placement of the tree in the background was great and it reminded me a little bit of the lighting of the beacons from the Lord of the Rings movies.

I also just finished a study of trees and think your values and tree forms are really excellently done, even on the whimsical tree skeleton.

Very nice! ^_^

Lovely! The colors are just so soft and gentle, and the tree is gorgeous.

Well I think it's awesome. :D I absolutely love the tree. It looks so soft and fluffy and pretty!

But... wasn't the resolution supposed to be 2550 x 3300 or something?
Never mind about the resolution I'm just crazy ^^;
Beautiful
